Assume a customer has a ticket API, a document repository, single sign-on, and a small operations team. The pilot must retain human review.
Build sequence
- Draw a search-only option and a retrieval-plus-drafting option.
- Annotate identity, data scope, and failure behavior at each boundary.
- Write decisions for hosting, retrieval, model access, and operational ownership.
- Present a five-minute tradeoff review and record challenges from a peer.
Acceptance checks
- Every component has an owner and a demonstrated purpose.
- The design includes a manual fallback and a rollback route.
- At least one condition is identified under which the simpler option wins.
Evidence to keep
Submit the working artifact or decision document described above, the inputs used, and the observed results for every acceptance check. Include one failed attempt and the change you made after investigating it. Label fixture-based outcomes separately from live-system measurements. These artifacts become part of your final portfolio review.
